In April 2021, the Future HR Research Center was established.

At the Future HR Research Center, we research trends in the HR field and effective ways to implement HR policy. We aim to share ideas that are one or two steps ahead of the world, and valuable information that contributes to the ideal HR of the future.
Also, as part of that, we will research and develop techniques that utilize interviews and assessment tools to better understand and visualize personnel.

At HLC, we are always studying and thinking hard about how we can be of more benefit to our customers and colleagues, and we understand that the knowledge that we have built up through our daily work is needed by not just the people that we meet with directly, but also many others in the MC Group.
With a name like “Research Center,” many may have an image of it as being quite academic, but research is not just that. The problems that our employees are conscious of and that they worry about day-to-day are also nothing less than research. A place where we can share the research outcomes and value gained from each area of our business - Human Resources / Organizational Development, Global Mobility, Consulting, Career Support - that is the Future HR Research Center.

Also, as an HR test laboratory, HLC implements or runs internal trials of the newest HR policies and tools / techniques before other companies. We look forward to sharing the results of how internal experiments and trials have gone with other companies in the MC Group.

Increasing the value of the corporate entity that is the MC Group is an important mission for HLC. Although it is made up of many companies of varying size, history and business model, when it comes to HR issues, there are many themes that each company shares. In order to maintain and further advance the MC Group, with regard to HR, we would like to build a system where information can be shared and exchanged as if the group was just one company.

Due to the effects of COVID-19, digitalization and more things moving online, HR is also experiencing huge change. In order for everyone working at MC Group companies, management and the HR staff to be able to move forward into the future, we ask that you please make use of HLC’s knowledge and information.
