Human Link has been involved in not only projects in emerging economies which MC is focusing on but also large-scale projects that Business Groups in MC pursue. There has been a need for support in HR fields in these projects. Human Link provided support from personnel transfer to designing and implementing an HR system with three things in mind. These were taking the local customs into account, a communication plan that improves employee motivation, and formulating an HR system that is not a burden to operate. Human Link was able to accumulate valuable HR experiences through providing this support.

Challenges

  • The existing HR system in operation and the working conditions were not set.
  • The company wanted to make information about reorganization available to employees in an appropriate way, but did not know what kind of process they should initiate.
  • Company E wanted to design new compensation levels at which employees should stay motivated, but there was a lack of information and the market was growing rapidly so they did not know what the appropriate compensation level was.

Effects

Company E was able to undergo a smooth transition for HR matters with the comprehensive support provided by Human Link ranging from planning the company's future direction, formulating a detailed HR system, introduction of that system, to operations.

Human Link was able to contribute to smooth progress in the project as a whole by leading the HR area while administrative processes were running simultaneously towards establishment of a new company. Human Link organized the future management platform by formulating a simple and easily understood new HR system through understanding both the existing system and local customs. In addition, Human Link provided support that utilized the global network in cooperation with MC's overseas offices and subsidiaries, and will continue to provide support as needed.
