Company A became a major food trading company as a result of a number of companies merging. Human Link provided Company A support for both HR system consulting and HR development.
Six separate companies merged to form Company A. The initial challenges for this corporate merger were to expedite a seamless integration of the companies while stimulating post-merger growth through synergetic effects.
Various HR systems were integrated smoothly during the merger process, and an HR development system with training programs for each level of employment based on job requirement was established after the merger, in addition to initiatives to spread and share the corporate culture.Employee awareness surveys were conducted, also reviewing HR systems of group companies in order for the merger to bring about synergy. Two years following the corporate merger, Human Link is providing support for creating career paths and reconstructing HR development systems based on interviews conducted with managers and executives. Initiatives were revised to enhance the capabilities of personnel based on both the challenges that the integration were facing, and the management's future vision.
By linking the two aspects of HR development and HR system consulting, Human Link was able to provide solutions that took into account Company A's existing problems, and support creating synergy within the company after integration.
